“Baked apples, buttery shortbread. Lemon tart. Nuts. It’s rich in steaming baking aromas. Flavours are even richer and denser, bold and bitter-sweet. It’s a forward, full-bodied style of white wine. Bitter oregano oil, orange peel, honey, ginger. Heavy load of flavours. Cinnamon with alcoholic warmth finish the taste and boost the spicy feeling. But it’s alright as fruit intensity can handle it. There’s a decent spike in acidity at the end that pushes through the low-sitting, coating layer of flavours. Very seductive Roussanne.” ~ Mike Bennie in Wine Front
